Best Dam Country Jam is now Sunday, October 18, 2026, after weather forced its postponement. The new location is 6th Street between Broadbent Park and the high school. The festival runs noon to 8 p.m., but live entertainment starts at 4 p.m. Tickets are available through the official event website.
Arrive at noon for the earlier part of the festival. For music, use the 4 p.m. entertainment start when deciding when to leave home. The first band does not begin at noon.

Should you ride the Halloween train on Saturday or Sunday?
Choose Saturday’s Halloween Express if you also want Sunday’s Country Jam music. The train runs on October 17 and 18, with departures at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday’s departures overlap the hours of the live entertainment, so Saturday avoids having to leave the festival for the train.
The non-scary Halloween Express includes a 30-minute train ride, then a Monster Mash dance party and costume contest. Allow about 90 minutes for the full event. Costumes are welcome.

What can kids do on Sunday before the evening events?
