Where You Can Show Up
Founding Business Profile: $550, one time
A highlighted “Founding Partner” page on this site about your business. We write it, in the same voice as the rest of the site: what you actually serve, when you are open, where to park, what a first-timer should order. Real photos, not stock. It is indexed, it has your name in the URL, and you can link to it from your own Facebook or Instagram. You pay once and the page stays up. Capped at the first six businesses.
Featured Directory Listing: $45 a month, or $500 for the year
Your listing pinned to the top of its category with a photo and a Featured badge, and a link straight to your own site. We already run 86 directory listings. This moves yours to the front of its category.
Contest prize sponsor: $50 a month plus the prize
Every month we give a $50 gift card to the Boulder City Contributor of the Month. Sponsor it and your name goes on the public leaderboard, on the contest invitation that appears on all 86 directory pages, and on the winner announcement. You supply the $50 gift card and $50 sponsor fee.
Homepage banner: $200 a month
One image, yours alone, below the events block on the front page. It doesn’t rotate with anyone else’s, because there is no second slot.
These are introductory rates and they hold through Jan 1, 2027. Anything bought before then keeps its price for the term you bought, and up to one year.
What we will and will not say for money
- We write the copy. You correct anything factual: hours, address, prices, what you serve. We don’t hand over the keyboard, because a page that reads like your own ad is worth less to you than one that does not.
- Paid placement is labeled at the top of the page, in plain words, not in a footnote at the bottom. Paid outbound links are tagged as sponsored, which is what Google asks for and what keeps the rest of the site trustworthy.
- Position in a guide is not for sale. Paying does not make you the best breakfast in Boulder City. Our favorites are opinions of our editors, family and friends (and will probably change as menus and chefs/cooks change!).
- We will not remove, bury or edit a competitor’s listing. Not for any amount.
- If you stop paying, the Founding Business Profile stays up. You bought it. The monthly placements are the only things that come down.
- Corrections are free, forever. New hours, a new phone number, a new owner, tell us and we fix it the same week.
