Home of the Black & Blue Burger that won my heart, plus a patio setup that makes sense when Boulder City gives you one of those good-weather windows.
Editor’s Opinion
The burger-guide opinion is not subtle here: the Black & Blue Burger is the winner. The original write-up calls out the blue cheese melting over the patty, thick crispy bacon, and the dangerous reality that you may go in planning to eat half and wake up with the whole burger gone.

Why it makes the short list
Chilly Jilly’z does a lot of jobs at once: home of the Black & Blue Burger (still the best burger in town), a reliable breakfast and lunch stop, and one of the better patios when the weather cooperates. It is also the easy pick on the Boulder City Parkway side of town.
Local quick take
I’m biased because of the Black & Blue Burger. But that is kind of the point of this site. We are allowed to have favorites.
Good for
- Burger stop with more than one reason to go
- Patio meal when the weather is cooperating
- Casual breakfast/lunch planning for families
